Ghanaian rapper Tinny has revealed that he paid Hammer of the last two to record his music, denying claims that the producer discovered him. In an interview on UTV’s Atuu, Tinny shared that he approached The Last 2 studio, where Hammer was part of a group, located at Legon Blue Gate, seeking production similar to Obrafour’s beats.

Tinny wanted beats with drums and kicks that would enable him to rap, but the person he met at the studio couldn’t deliver. He left and later got a call from Hammer to feature on Dogo’s album as a Ga rapper.

“I don’t understand why people say Hammer discovered me; I paid him to record me,” Tinny said, setting the record straight about his music beginnings.
