Charterhouse Ghana Announces Nominees for 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards
March 14, 2026Charterhouse Ghana, organizers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), has scheduled March 14 for the nominees’ announcement of the 27th edition.
The event will be broadcast live on TV3, with organizers promising an unforgettable showcase. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., hourly nominee reveals will build anticipation, culminating in the main announcement show at 8 p.m.
The TGMA Board and Partners officially opened nominations for commercially released music between January 1 and December 31, 2025. Eligible submissions include works from artists, managers, record labels, producers, composers, and other industry stakeholders. The awards aim to recognize excellence across Ghana’s vibrant music scene.
Fans are particularly eager to see nominations in key categories such as Artiste of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and New Artiste of the Year. Other highlights include Best Male and Female Vocalist, Best Collaboration, and genre-specific awards like Best Hiplife, Hip Hop, Gospel, Reggae Dancehall, and Afrobeat.
