Angie, popularly known on social media as Angie Stylish, has become entangled in a distressing situation after videos of her were posted online by a group of scammers she encountered in Kumasi.
The incident began when Angie, in need of financial assistance, reached out to a friend who invited her to his home. Upon arrival, she found several other young men present. They offered her more money than she had requested, on the condition that she engage with all of them. Angie agreed, and the men recorded videos of the encounter without her consent.
After the encounter, the scammers demanded that Angie refund the money, claiming they had given her more than she deserved. When she refused to comply, one of the men posted a video online to intimidate her into paying them back. Despite the threat, Angie stood her ground, leading the scammers to release the remaining videos.
Infuriated and feeling violated, Angie reported the incident to the police. Unfortunately, the investigation faces challenges as the identities of the scammers remain unknown and no pictures are available to aid in their capture.
The police are currently handling the case, working to uncover the identities of the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
